Mommy and Daddy went for a drive this Sunday and left us at home. They we
nt to find out about renting a boat for when my auntie Kim and her boys Bernie and Ailin come visit later this summer. After looking at pontoon boats they can rent on the big lake, they drove up to where Daddy will be doing some armed hiking later this year (he calls it "hunting"). They brought me back these pictures.
This is the view from the road to the mountains:
This is the mountain that Daddy will be "hiking" in:
This is about the only thing that's likely to be shot:
Mommy learned that rhododendrens grow wild in the mountains:
Sorry Daisy, they didn't find any lizards, but they did find a frog. Can you research that? (Daddy has really good eyes to have spotted this one)

Guess what?!? A box came for us today and it was from YOU! Inside was an incredibly fun Barbie® boa and Temptations®! We also got a golf ball to chase and some new bubbles that have a special wand inside that will make LOTS of bubbles at once! Thank you, thank you!
Mom says to say "thank you" for the pretty silicone paw bracelet (that Lucky Charmz has already tasted) and the cute mug with the kitties and paws on it.
Wow! Such terrific presents! We feel so spoiled ... We're gonna have some Temptations® now. Do you wanna share 'em, Zoey? They're beef ...
Check out us enjoying the presents on Wednesday's post!

Those are some nice pictures. Is it close to where you live?

The scene looks pretty.
I hope your human family got great time, too.
Lovely photos! It looks very pretty where your dad will be hiking.
That frog is very well camoflagued!
I'd like to play with that frog - I bet his name is George!
Very nice pictures - great scenes!
Cool pictures!
(And MomBean agrees with your Dadcat. She likes Martin too!)
That looks like a very nice Sunday drive.

I wonder if that frog is a cousin to George the lizard? What do you think?
Those were some pretty mountains...we live where it is flat flat flat. We do have some water, but right now at this time of the year I'm not too sure it's the best place to live. I wish hurricane season was over.

I love seeing different parts of the world through my blogging friends. It looks very pretty in the hiking areas.

Oh, and frootbats are just kitties with big ears because we kind of look like fruit bats. Its usually applied to the extreme wedge head cats (like Siamese, Orientals, Sphynx, etc). Its kind of an endearing term because some people think we're ugly.

whoa - your daddy really DOES have good eyes! we wuz lookin' fur the froggy an couldn't effun see it at furrst.
Hmmm, I have not learned much about froggies yet. But I am studying your photos very hard. Here is what I can tell you about frogs:
* They are brown
* They like to hide
* They like to play in the mud
* They do not look like lizards
I will let you know when I learn more.
That froggy really is hard to find spechsully since we nefur seen one afore. Mom loves them northeast trees. It's so purty there.
Oops sorry - them northWEST trees!
Ooooh nice pictures! Makes us want to go outside with them to da mtns...maybe we can chase down that frog (which we did see...but it was so hard!!)
