I was working on a "thinking of you" card and thought I convert a new thank you card from the Silhouette Design Studio for the purpose. But, I'm not really feeling it. I loved the card sample in the studio. I love this white floral paper from DCWV's Natural stack and thought it would look stunning with the red and black. But I'm not just feeling it. I love the floral paper, but I think it's a little too stark behind the damask element and the sentiment just gets lost. I'll have to give it another try with a different background paper and see if I like it better.

You can sometimes be your own worst critic. I love it all, but one thing I would change is the black part on top....put a white piece instead and it will soften it up. Lordy, I have NEVER told anyone how they might change something, even though I get plenty of mail "to me" on how I can improve upon something. It's a beautiful card and that would be the only think I would change to soften it up. Who knows, you might do what I suggest and it might make it worse....lol So don't listen to me if you know what's good for you. Smiles, Cely
