Laundry Day

On Tuesday night, Mommy told Daddy there are two new things that he has to remember. First she told Daddy that he has to "put the lid on the toilet down because Smoke was drinking from the toilet." Mommy says the water isn't good for him. She also muttered something under her breath about crazy cats not wanting to drink from their water fountain that she paid good money for but wanting to drink from the floating candle bowl, pond, toilet, puddles, etc. Hmmm.... I wonder if she didn't put those floaty-things in my bowl of water on the family room table just to make it prettier for me?

Then she told Daddy, "Do not start the dryer without first checking it for kittens." Apparently they have decided to help with the laundry. I used to help with the laundry all the time. As soon as she got it in the laundry basket, I would jump right in and make sure she got it all clean and leave some fur so she'd be able to tell their clothes from someone else's. Apparently the kittens are helping out with the laundry basket too and even checking the dryer for things that might have been left behind!

Checking the dryer sounds very important. We don't have a dryer here in Germany. We are renting and our place didn't come with a dryer, plus there's no where to hook one up and we can't cut holes in the walls. So we hang everything to dry.

let me know if you get him to cook for you. i may try to put a little pressure on my mama to cook for me too.

Well, that's one way to make sure the male beans put the lid down! Tee hee.

Oh, that is very good advice about checking the dryer before starting it!

We have a magnet that goes on the drier anytime the drier is opened and not emptied. We love sitting in the drier.

That is some good advice! Our toilet lid is always down or else I would leap into it :). Watch out for kittens, they are tiny!

Mum always keeps the dryer door closed unless she is putting in or taking out clothes. That keeps me out of it.

Both of your momma's helpful hints are furry good to know. Charmee liked to get into the dishwasher ...

Have you signed up for summer Secret Paws, yet? Here's the link to the site: "Secret Paws".

Don't miss out! It's furry fun!

Momma puts fresh water out for Mistrie all the time, but she prefers to drink from puddles (if they are available,) or pond waters.

Helping with laundry is a major kitty duty.

Our Daddy had to learn those rules too! He's very good at following them now!

Santa Claus brought us a water fountain for Christmas, but we refused to use it and mom boxed it up in frustration. I like to drink out the bathroom faucet best. Jake sometimes likes to drink out of the birdbaths outside.

Be careful about the dryer. We've never been interested in exploring there.
