More side jaunt pictures
Because we apparently live boring lives (eat, sleep, swat at each other, eat, sleep...), we feature again wonderful things that Mommy and Daddy saw on their side jaunt. These are pictures of Clearwater Falls...

Have you ever seen anything so blue?
On the way home from a 60th anniversary party (that's right six - oh), for which Mommy made this this card:

At the risk of getting in trouble with the park people, Mommy took pictures of their signs so she could share some of the interesting facts about this amazing sight (You'll probably have to biggify it to read it):
Mommy and Daddy made a side jaunt to Crater Lake. Neither of them remember seeing it before (although Mommy's sure that she probably saw it as a kid), so it seemed like a good time to go a little out of their way to see this natural wonder. And wonderful it is! Have you ever seen anything so blue? It was amazing!

A moment with Sammy
Sammy: Temporary mommy, what is that thing you have?
I'm blind! Put that thing away!
Okay that's it! I'm out of here...
Chewie: Geesh. What a drama queen!
Note from Mommy: I just finished reading this hilarious book called Crazy Aunt Purl's Drunk, Divorced and Covered in Cat Hair and then found out she has a blog! I highly recommend it, whether you knit or not.

Meet the new (temporary) addition: Sammy
I cannot believe it. The beans took in another furball. And I do mean furball. They say it's only temporary but still another one???? The story goes like this. On Sunday afternoon the phone rang and Mom answered it. She talks for a minute and then asks Dad what he thinks about having six cats. Dad wasn't too keen on the idea but Mom agreed anyway saying it was only temporary until Sammy's mom can move to her new home in December where she'll be able to have Sammy. The next thing I knew people were bringing in this fluffball about an hour later. Did I mention that Dad wasn't keen on the idea? Did I mention that she didn't even consult the furballs, let alone the most important person: Me, of course.
Well Sammy wasn't here more than few hours and Dad was checking on him to make sure he was okay. The second night Dad had the adaucity to bring Sammy onto the bed to sleep. Last night he was clearing off the headboard so that Sammy cound have a place to perch and giving Sammy belly rubs. Yeah, he's a sucker for a pretty face.
So temporarily we have become six so I guess it's only appropriate to share a picture of the temporary furball member.
