First, we want to thank all of you who have posted your
purrayers and well-wishes. They have been greatly appreciated. Uncle Jason passed away tonight at 4:05 p.m. in the presence of his loved ones (and in the thoughts of Aunt Kim). He will be missed but is in a better place. For the family, the services will be on Saturday, December 22 at 11 a.m. at the Grange.
Second, thank you for all the birthday wishes for Mommy and the gotcha day wishes for me. Mommy got to come home at a reasonable hour on her birthday to spend the evening with Daddy doing what has become a tradition - pizza and movies. But this year they added yummy cake from the
Konditerie (
sp?). Mommy loves the cake there and let us have crumbs and leftover frosting. She even took a day off to go out with the girls shopping and have dinner with the whole family.
Third, today was Grandpa's (mommy's Dad) birthday and we want to wish him a very happy birthday from all of (especially since we all missed his party). We hope he has a fabulous day because we love him very much.
Mommy's almost done with her late nights and long hours at work. She should be wrapping up either Monday or Tuesday of this next week and hopefully we'll be back to blogging by the end of next week (after she gets the wireless modem to work again and gets some much needed sleep - I see long kitty naps in our future and lots of Temptations thanks to new coupons from
DaisyMae Maus' Mommy).
Fifth, Mommy wants to thank
DaisyMae Maus and her Mommy for the wonderful birthday presents. We had a lot of fun with the wrapping paper and box and Mommy loved the gifts. She passed along the pins to Auntie Michele and Grandma and Grandma is passing along the other two. Thank you so much.
Finally,
Cha-
Ching wants to add a special hello to little Lucy-
furr.
Well, that's about it. We don't have any new pictures yet, but we'll be taking some this week of the new Christmas decorations that Daddy put up outside (including the addition of Smoke's car on the front lawn...). We don't have a Christmas tree up yet (I think that Mommy and Daddy are a little concerned about what damage four
furballs and I can do to their pretty fiber-optic tree, but I keep trying to tell them that McKenzie was the one that liked to try to climb the Christmas tree while I'm the innocent one who left it alone). Somehow I don't think I'm the one they are worried about. (ha ha) Happy holidays everyone and special
Hanukkah wishes to all our Jewish friends (like the one that Mommy works with who's been sacrificing his evenings with the family to help the team finish this up).
